Welcome to the Julie Sianne Theatre Arts website.
Established for over 30 years, Julie Sianne Theatre Arts is a dance school based in Byfleet and West Byfleet, Surrey offering the highest quality training in RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap, Jazz, Drama (including LAMDA Examinations), and Singing. There are dance classes available for the very young - aged 2 1/2 years right up to adult professionals, so whether you are just starting out, keen to improve, or want the best training available to help gain entry to dance colleges or drama colleges we have classes to suit you.
The characteristic spirit of the School is for it to be well disciplined and professional with a happy and friendly atmosphere at all times which inspires pupils to enjoy themselves and fulfil their individual potential. There are Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet classes, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) modern classes and tap classes, and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) acting classes. Non syllabus drama classes, limbering and jazz classes. Singing classes are also available. Pupils are invited to take part in the annual Choreography Competition and biennial Showcase both of which are usually held at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking.
Selected pupils can also perform at Dance Festivals around the region and if successful at Regional and All England Dance National Finals. Julie Sianne Theatre Arts has consistently proved itself to be among the very best dance schools in the country at all dance disciplines and in 2011 was one of only 4 schools in the country to have 2 routines selected to perform at the first ever Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
In 2012 the school was chosen to perform at the Savoy Theatre in the First News Diamond Kids Royal Gala in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrice.In March 2013 pupils from the school danced in Downing Street helping to launch the MY WAY! tour campaigning for better understanding of the needs of children with learning challenges.

The school has an outstanding record across all graded examinations in Ballet, Modern, Tap and Lamda. Since 2008 pupils have taken more than 1000 exams. Over 76% of the results have been Distinctions.

After completing their training at JSTA and their ‘GCSE’ or ‘A’ Levels, many pupils audition for vocational theatre colleges and historically 85% are awarded funding to continue their training. Many former pupils are now working in the West End, touring theatres at home and abroad as well as working in TV and Film.
