Welcome to the Julie Sianne Theatre Arts website.

Julie Sianne Theatre Arts is an extra curricular school based in Byfleet and West Byfleet, Surrey offering the highest quality training in RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap, Jazz, Drama (including LAMDA Examinations), and Singing. There are classes available for the very young - aged 2½ years right up to adult professionals, so whether you are just starting out, keen to improve, or want the best training available to help gain entry to dance or drama colleges we have classes to suit you.

The characteristic spirit of the School is for it to be well disciplined and professional with a happy and friendly atmosphere at all times which inspires all pupils to fulfil their individual potential. Classes are available in Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) Ballet, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern and Tap, and London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) Acting. Non syllabus drama, limbering/jazz and singing classes are also available. Pupils are invited to take part in the annual Choreography Competition and biennial Showcase both of which are usually held at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, Woking.

Selected pupils can also perform at Dance Festivals around the region and if successful at Regional and National Finals. Julie Sianne Theatre Arts has consistently proved itself to be among the very best schools in the country at all dance disciplines and no other school in the area can claim to give a better all round dance education.

 

After completing their training at JSTA and their ‘GCSE’ or ‘A’ Levels, many pupils audition for vocational theatre colleges and historically 85% are awarded full funding to continue their training. Many former pupils are now working in the West End, touring theatres at home and abroad as well as working in TV and Film.
