Classical Ballet classes help students to learn the true meaning of expression through the beauty of movement and music. They are a way for students to express themselves joyfully whilst embracing technique, developing a love of music and feeling the power of their own strength and poise.
Our ballet dance classes follow the RAD Curriculum and our team of fully qualified, professional teachers embrace the ethos of our school.
Ballet classes start with Beginners/Pre-Primary from aged 2½ up to Advanced II.
All students are encouraged to take Ballet dance classes even if they feel it is not their preferred dance medium, as the study of ballet will support and improve the technique of all styles of dance. Ballet is best introduced to children at a young age. As one of the leading providers of baby ballet classes in Guildford (Woking, Byfleet, & West Byfleet in Surrey), we will ensure your child not only enjoys their first dance classes but is taught the correct technique.
Coaching Classes and Private Tuition
We offer six levels of Coaching Classes to students depending on their age and ability, ranging from Primary to Advanced 2. These classes are invitation only.
Private Tuition can also be arranged for students. The times allocated for private tuition can be found on our Downloadable Timetable

Our Uniforms
Our uniform supplier is 4 dance with stores at Walton and Byfleet. All JSTA uniform is now available to purchase from both 4 dance stores and exclusively for JSTA Customers, 4 dance have introduced a loyalty scheme.
Our uniform is now available to purchase in store or online at the 4 dance website www.4dance.co.uk.
Ballet Character Skirts, required uniform for Ballet Grades 1-5, are now supplied by Edwina Farrow.
