New from Summer 2021 – Jazz Technique and Jazz Choreography
Jazz
Jazz dance has always developed alongside popular music and therefore covers an incredibly broad range of styles which is continually evolving.
Our Jazz classes include limbering and strengthening exercises, corner-work (kicks, leaps and turns), and floor-work. Students are able to try a varied range of styles helping them to develop into all round performers with a quick response to choreography. Jazz Classes start from age 4 in Junior Jazz and progress through Intermediate, Senior and then Advanced I & II.
In the Advanced grades we are privileged to be able to welcome professional Guest Teachers – from current West End performers to members of the leading Musical Theatre College faculties, bringing with them a wealth of innovative and current styles.
Jazz Uniform
Our uniform supplier is 4 dance with stores at Walton and Byfleet. All JSTA uniform is now available to purchase from both 4 dance stores and, exclusively for JSTA Customers, 4 dance have introduced a loyalty scheme.
